School Time
Hosanna kids are back in school and today is the first full day for them. Please join me in prayer for them and for all of our students. It’s all about discipleship. None of us is beyond needing discipline and education.
God is faithful and good. Sometimes it is difficult to see how things will work out…but they always do. Thank you, Lord for watching and keeping us under your banner. Show us how to better parents. Teach us how to live as your child. Your grace is abundant. Thank you.
Snow, school, and the Gospel…
It snowed today, on Troublesome Creek. The kids loved it–snowballs, snow angels, snow eyelashes–what a wonderful gift for the first day of the year. I was able to get away for a little while, just before dark, and try a little fishing. No luck, not a bite…but just being there, walking alongside the creek, was time well spent. School starts back up tomorrow. We will finish out a term, this week, and begin another next week. Seeing that our kids are in big need of reading development, I’ve come up with a plan. We are going to use the Gospel of John as a reading primer–verse by verse, we will study the Word for comprehension, rather than speed. My prayer is that we not only learn to read better, but that we learn to be better by believing more. Please join me in that prayer. May we be blessed with revival.
